Concord, N.C. (May 12, 2010)— With just five races in to the 2010 ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards, Grant Enfinger has been in contention for a win on the intermediate track and speedways. With a resent sixth-place finish at Talladega, Enfinger took a breather from the ARCA Racing Series over the next few weeks to prepare for the Racing for Wildlife at Michigan International Speedway on June 11.

The Fairhope, Ala., native Grant Enfinger returned to his “home track” – Talladega Superspeedway – with experience in hand and a chance to improve last year’s third place finish as he participated in the Talladega ARCA 250 at Talladega Superspeedway for the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards on April 23.

Throughout the entire race, Enfinger, raced inside the top-10 leading 42 laps. He impressed his hometown crowd and local sponsors by contending for victory. Enfinger steered his No. 09 BeasleyAllen.com Ford to a sixth-place after starting the 250-mile, 94-lap race eighth after qualifying.

“Another great week for our BeasleyAllen.com team,” said Enfinger. “We seem to put ourselves in position to win every time we race. It is just a matter of time before we pull one off. We were able run up front for all of those guys at Beasley Allen and were able to over come a flat tire.”

Earlier this season Enfinger’s day at the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at Daytona International Speedway ended early. He finished 30th after issues with the driveline on his car 38-laps in to the event. His luck improved when he returned to Texas Motor Speedway due to his past dominance on the intermediate tracks.
Expectations of a pole qualifying effort were washed away while sitting atop of the speed charts at Texas Motor Speedway. Due to weather, this forced ARCA Racing Series officials to cancel the Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell. Enfinger started from the 14th position, as the field was set by the 2009 ARCA Racing Series car owner final point standings.

Enfinger battled and remained in the top-10 for much of the race and finishing third after leading 22 laps late in the race.

After capping off his second consecutive top-10 finish of the season in three starts, Enfinger put his BeasleyAllen.com No. 09 Ford Fusion team in an echelon that includes few other independent teams.
The 25-year-old will make his 14th career ARCA Racing Series start at Michigan International Speedway on June 11. The Racing for Wildlife at Michigan International Speedway will be televised on SPEED with additional race coverage including live timing and scoring and radio broadcast through the ARCA Racing Network at arcaracing.com.
