Enfinger Ready To Race Again

Enfinger to race at Michigan International Speedway June 11

CONCORD, N.C. (June 7, 2010) — Grant Enfinger is set to race at Michigan International Speedway’s Racing for Wildlife 200 on June 11.  After Michigan International Speedway’s Open Test on May 25, Enfinger, driver of the No. 09 Ford Fusion, feels positive about his times and speeds of the test and even better about the upcoming race.

“I feel like it was a good test,” Enfinger said.  “We didn’t get as much done as we had originally hoped for, but we figured out some things we wouldn’t have been able to do at the race. You just don’t have time during a two hour practice to work out the bigger details like you do at a test.  We had some time to experiment with some things with the car.  We seem to be good at these bigger tracks, and I don’t think this time will be any different.”

At the Open Test, Enfinger’s speed and times were in the top ten of the day.  His fastest time was 39.836 (180.741 mph).  GER expects nothing but a positive outcome in Michigan. GER will use chassis #281 at MIS, which has a good history with four top three finishes.

Enfinger is eager to hit the track in Michigan sporting a new look on his No. 09 Ford Fusion.

Beasley-Allen.com and GER are pleased to announce we have formed an alliance with Roush-Yates Performance Products for the 2010 season starting at the Racing for Wildlife 200 at Michigan International Speedway,” Enfinger said.  “Roush-Yates Performance Products will be sported on the quarter panels for the race on June 11,” Enfinger said.

Roush-Yates Performance Products is considered the exclusive supplier of Ford Racing engines for series such as the Sprint Cup, Nationwide, and Camping World Truck with NASCAR, and ARCA amongst others.  Roush-Yates Performance Products offers a means for any and all racers to buy a variety of new and used race products.  Each product carries with it high quality race proven Sprint Cup technology.  Chassis parts from Roush-Fenway and Yates Racing are offered, as well.  In addition to the used parts in stock, new racing products are available for purchase to many Cup, Nationwide, Truck and ARCA teams. Parts are also offered for road racing and drag racing.

GER crew chief and Michigan local, Howard Bixman is thrilled about the upcoming race, as well.  “The Beasley-Allen.com/Roush-Yates Performance Products No. 09 Ford Fusion ran good at Michigan’s test,” Bixman said.  “I think the whole team is excited to get back to the race track.  With Michigan International Speedway being a 2 mile race track, it will require good horsepower, which we have with the Roush-Yates Engines.  Also, since Ford Motor Company’s world headquarters are located in Michigan, to bring home a victory there would be great for everyone involved with Ford.”

Also local to Michigan is GER’s associate marketing partner, Stanley Industries.  Based out of Clawson, Stanley Industries is a distributor of more than 40,000 line items such as screws, bolts, nuts, washers, pins, socket products, miscellaneous fasteners and standard materials. Enfinger is proud to represent a local company while racing for the first time in Michigan.

The ARCA series race at Michigan International Speedway will be televised on SPEED with additional race coverage including live timing and scoring and radio broadcast through the ARCA Racing Network at arcaracing.com.
